He is also an International Chaplain as well as a licensed mediator and member of the American Association of Christian Counselors (AACC).

Dr. Arthur Naylor is the founder and Senior Pastor of the First Pentecostal Prayer of Faith Church established April 24, 1988. The church has evolved into a multicultural congregation in Hamilton Square, New Jersey now residing in Lambertville, New Jersey. The work started in Trenton, New Jersey and flourished into a powerful church with over 600 members from various racial and socioeconomic statuses. He has been a Pastor for 23 years and has started 4 churches, with the newest location in Newark, New Jersey. Throughout the years of growth and transition from one location to the next, he has always remained focused on evangelism and reaching our lost world.

With a commitment to evangelism and obedience to the Lord, he has acquired the ability to be an effective pastor, leader and administrator in a church where there has been tremendous growth. Dr. Naylor envisioned an increase in ministry and expanded services to the community as a result of early church growth. As the Lord led, he shared the gospel of Jesus by doing as many as three to four home bible studies per week.

He developed a sincere love for the Word of God early in his Christian journey and felt that he wanted nothing more than to be obedient to Christ and to share the good news as much and as often as possible. This principle has followed him throughout his ministry as he spread the gospel in several other countries and continents: Ethiopia, Liberia, Canada, Philippines, Israel and Europe.

Dr. Naylor is the Superintendent of the New Jersey Metro District of the United Pentecostal Church International, Inc. His years of service have included District Home Missions Director, District Presbyter and currently District Home Missions Director, District Presbyter and District Superintendent. Prior to accepting the Lord's call into ministry, Dr. Naylor was a successful computer programmer and entrepreneur. He is the epitome of the cliché God uses ordinary people for extraordinary purposes". His life story is one of tragedy to triumph and poverty to prosperity. Through these life experiences, God prepared and equipped him with the skills and leadership abilities that are necessary to shepherd his flock. In spite of his numerous credentials, Dr. Naylor is a humble, praying man of God, who makes himself available to everyone. Those who have had the opportunity to talk with him leave the conversation having felt his warmth, compassion and genuine love for people. He spends countless hours counseling, encouraging and teaching both lay persons and pastors.

His timely arrival to the kingdom of God and his obedience to His Word, brings to the First Pentecostal Prayer of Faith Church family many answered prayers. Dr. Naylor’s ministry has been characterized as challenging the congregation to be a living witness for Jesus Christ and to deepen their own personal relationship with their Lord and Savior.

Dr. Naylor’s personal faith goal is to "work hard to model discipleship of Jesus as best as I am able through my prayer life and study of the scriptures”. If one were to ask his wife how he finds the time, strength and energy to accomplish all that has been assigned to him as a husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, friend and pastor, her response would be: "The joy of the Lord is his strength".
